All work and no play makes jack a dull boy. No one wants to be like jack so the employees of Deepak Foundation decided to celebrate sports day at Don Bosco School Narukot on 8^th February 2008. Around 200 staff members of Deepak Foundation participated in the event & enjoyed the whole day. The event began with a prayer followed by snacks. The first session which began from 9:00 witnessed team games like Kho-Kho and Volleyball.

After completion of the team games it was time for some individual performances with brinjal game and coin searching. In the beginning of each game, the name of the participants was announced & accordingly all the participants tried their tryst with luck for prizes. Passing the parcel brought out the fun element with the participants enacting the punishments which they would pick up from the box.

The second session of the games started at 2:30 pm & continued up to 6.30. It had games like Music chair, Sack race, One minute games & Dance & Timli. It was really a fantastic session & every one enjoyed in their own way.  The prize distribution was held at 6:00 pm followed by vote of thanks. It was really a great moment to realize that all the participants seemed very happy & every one enjoyed the whole day with great enthusiasm. The sports were played within the spirit of the game which was prerequisite to bring the event to the great success. The sports day brought out the true spirit of sportsmanship and team spirit. The sports day taught that it is never too late to begin a task and success can be achieved if the goal is clear. All one needs is to stay focused and keep on working to achieve the goal.
